Dawnsiau Llangadfan Dances

Seiliedig ar ddawnsiau a ddisgrifwyd yn llythyrau William Jones at Edward Jones, Bardd y Brenin, Llundain, mewn llawysgrifau wedi’u darganfod ymysg papurau Edward Jones ym 1929, nawr yn Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru, Aberystwyth. Ysgrifennodd William Jones ei lythyr yn Saesneg dilynnaf, felly, yr un trefn.

Paratowyd yr ethygl yma a nodiadau y dawnsiau ar gyfer Cwrs Gwanwyn y Gymdeithas yn Abersytwyth, Mai 1998.

Based on dances described in William Jones’ letters to Edward Jones, Bardd y Brenin, London in manuscripts discovered amongst Edward Jones’ papers in 1929 now in National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth. Williams wrote his letter in English, I intend therefore to do the same.

This article and notes on the dances were prepared for the Society's Spring Course at Aberystwyth, May 1998.
