Another stellar performance by the contemporary master of the Welsh triple harp. This time a mix of new material & a bit of duplication from previous recordings, though all re-recorded & some with new arrangements, like the impressive 1838 variations of "Cadair Idris." All traditional Welsh airs & dance music, with the exception of two contemporary pieces: "Hwylio Adref" by Tudur Huws Jones (4 yn y Bar), newly recorded by Bowen & a new solo version of "Y Llinyn Arian" by Ann Morgan Jones (Cusan Tan), previously recorded as a duet with Jones on flute. Other new pieces include the heartrending 18c. John Parry Ddall arrangement of "Dafydd y Garreg Wen," "Merch Megan/Wyres Megan" & "Moel yr Wyddfa/Nos Galan," arranged by Nansi Richards. Instrumental; solo triple harp; comprehensive bilingual notes on the harp tradition in Wales, as well as the tunes.
