AND THE LLANGADFAN DANCES

THE ROARING HORNPIPE

Setting - 3 walking steps forward RLR towards first person, then 3 hornpipes back LRL to position, followed by back-to-back (6 step-hops) with second person.

PART 1 - THE LEADINGS - ARWAIN - (THE MAN’S PART)
A1 All lead up (six walking steps) & hornpipe back (six steps)
A2 That again.

B1 Cross hey (C1 only cross)
B2 Hey on your own side.

ENDS SET - M1/W3 WORKING COUPLE
A1 M1 set to W1 whilst W3 sets to M3, then back-to-back with M1 diagonal (M1-W2,W3-M2)
A2 Diagonals set then C1 & C3 back-to-back .
  (M1 & W3 b-to-b passing between W1/W2 & M2/M3 respectively)

B1 M1 & W3 hey between W2/W1 & M2/M3 respectively.
B2 All hey on your own side.

TOPS SET - M1/W1 WORKING COUPLE
A1 TOPS (C1 & C2) set into middle, then C2 cast up to C1 position whilst
  M1/W1 change sides (W1 first) into C2 position improper.
  M1/W1 Back-to-back with W3/M3 respectively, passing down & outside of W3/M3.
A2 M1/W1 Set to W3/M3 respectively, turn half & back-to-back with W2/M2 at top of the set,
  going up outside of W2/M2, then turn half facing down .......

B1 M1/W1 Hey between starting down & outside W2/M3 then up outside W2/M2, crossing to proper side
B2 All hey on your own side.

PART 2 - THE TRACINGS - OCHRI - (THE WOMAN’S PART)

A1 All side right to partner, & return to position (3 walking steps RLR, & 3 LRL)
  6 step/hops changing places with partner & turning loop by left shoulder.
A2 That again, siding left, crossing & looping right.

B1 Cross hey (C1 only cross)
B2 Hey on your own side

WONKY SETTING - M1/W1 WORKING COUPLE
A1 C1, W2 & M3 all set towards each other & return, then C2 cast up to C1
  position, whilst C1 change sides (improper);
  (M1 face down to W3, W1 face up to M2).
  M1/W3 back-to-back W1/M2.
A2 M1/W3 set to W1/M2 then M1/W2 back-to-back W1/M3 resp.

B1 M1 & W1 Hey down outside W3/M3 & up outside W2/M2 resp.,crossing proper into
B2 All hey on your own side.

2nd DIAGONAL - W1/M3 WORKING PAIR
A1 W1/M3 set to each M2/W2 resp., then C1 & C3 back-to-back with partners.
A2 C1 & C3 set to partner then W1/M3 back-to-back M2/W3 resp.

B1 W1 & M3 hey between M2/M1 & W2/W3 resp.
B2 All hey on your own side.

PART 3 - THE TURNINGS - TRO LLAW (THE CROSS PART)

TRO LLAW
A1 All arm right once round 6 walking steps,
  6 step/hops changing places with partner & turning loop by left shoulder.
A2 That again arming left, looping right shoulder.

B1 Cross hey (C1 only do cross hey).
B2 Hey on your own side, C1 finishing improper at top of set after hey.

SET SGWAR - M1/M3 WORKING COUPLE.
A1 M1/W1 Set to W3/M3 resp, then M1/M3 back-to-back M2/W2 resp.
A2 M1/M3 Set with M2/W2 then back-to-back with W3/M1 resp.

B1 M1 & M3 Hey between W3/M2 & W1/W2 resp.
B2 W2/C1 & M2/C3 circle twice round & finish in place.(C1 improper).

1s & 2s - M1/M2 WORKING PAIR
A1 C1 & C2 set to partner then M1 move to M2 position whilst
  W2 move to M1 improper position whilst
  M2 moves to W2 position.
  M1/M2 back-to-back down to M3/W3 resp.
A2 M1/M2 set to M3/W3, turn up half then back-to-back W1/W2 resp, M1/M2 going up & out.

B1 M1/M2 Hey between,
  M1 going down outside M3 & M2 down outside W3.
  M1 then going up outside W1 & M2 up outside W2.
  M2 cross in front of M1, M2 outside mans wall facing in,
  M1 finishing in centre of set.
B2 Circles M2/M3/W1 & M1/W3/W2 twice round clockwise & then break for normal positions.
